杨树属于中生性植物生态型,大部分杨树天然分布在河谷或溪谷,适宜栽培在湿润的土壤上。但是各种杨树对土壤水分的适应性有所差异,而有些杨树在土壤水分不足的条件下仍能正常生长。陕西省秦岭以北地区为主要的杨树栽培区,然而渭北高原及陕北雨量较少,且季节分布不均。因此,在杨树杂交育种工作中,我们把培育既速生又比较抗旱的新品种作为育种的目标。1981年我们将通过有性杂交选育出的优良无性系进行了盆栽干旱测验,鉴定了
