作为北京山区县,延庆高度重视水土保持工作。将建设社会主义新农村与水土保持生态建设相结合,改善和提高人民的生产和生活条件,通过节水灌溉、树盘等措施改善坡耕地条件,减少坡面水土流失,提高粮食和果品产量;通过村镇绿化、垃圾、污水处理等措施改善百姓村前屋后居住环境,提高百姓生活质量,逐步实现农民新形象、农村新气象、农业新景象。
