1996年7月,北京电视台开始向广告公司提供联机业务查询,包括广告时间查询、收视率、监测报告等,经过试运行,系统工作正常。 由于DDN申请困难,广告部的联机服务并未接入Internet,但以Web模式构架了自己的封闭广域网,采用SunSparc 20作WWW服务器,Cisco2511路由器异步端口接10根中继线为用户提供远程访问入口。
In July 1996, Beijing Television Station began to provide inquiries on online business to advertising agencies, including advertisement time inquiry, ratings and monitoring reports. After trial operation, the system was working normally. Due to DDN application difficulties, the online service of the advertising department did not access the Internet. However, the closed-domain WAN was constructed in web mode. The SunSparc 20 was used as the WWW server and the Cisco2511 router asynchronous port connected to 10 trunks to provide users with remote access portal.
