在孙中山领导的推翻帝制、建立民国的资产阶级民主革命过程中,华侨起了很大作用,为辛亥革命胜利,作出了宝贵的贡献。孙中山曾说:“华侨是革命之母。”
During the bourgeois-democratic revolution led by Sun Yat-sen to overthrow the monarchy and establish the Republic of China, the overseas Chinese played a significant role in making a valuable contribution to the victory of the 1911 Revolution. Sun Yat-sen once said: “Overseas Chinese are the mother of revolution.”
