本文从通识教育的特点、大学英语课程和大学英语写作目前的教学状况以及大学英语写作的重要性等方面分析了大学英语写作与大学英语和通识教育之间的关系。文章指出大学英语课应该细分为不同的课程,而且大学英语写作课程应该纳入大学通识教育必修课程体系之中。中国大学英语改革的主要目标应该包括培养和提高大学生的思辨能力。
This article analyzes the relationship between college English writing and college English and general education based on the characteristics of general education, the current teaching situation of college English courses and college English writing, and the importance of college English writing. The article points out that the college English course should be subdivided into different courses, and the college English writing course should be included in the university general education course system. The main goal of college English reform in China should include cultivating and improving students’ ability of thinking.
