一九三八年十二月,抗大一分校由陕北迁往山西敌后襄垣、屯留地区。八路军前方总部驻在那里。组成一分校的原抗大洛川、庆阳、栒邑三个大队先在鄜县集中,进行动员,十二月中旬,开抵延长一线待命。一九三九年一月初,全校六千人,从永和关渡黄河,入山西。中经吕梁山,穿过汾河,同蒲路敌人封锁线,越绵山,一路滔滔,一月底到达上党目的地。指挥这次行军的是一分校校长何长工、副校长周纯全同志。我属第一大队即以前的洛川大队,指挥这个大队的是韦国清同志。东征口号草于行军途中,说不上是诗,但不失为这一段战斗生活的纪实。
