The Soviet Union, once the “leader” of the world socialist countries and the number one power country, broke up within a very short period of time in the early 1990s. As if there was no clear direction for the future of the world socialist movement, the situation seems to be the same as in the West The implicit pleasure of socialism by the capitalist countries came to an end. However, this failure did not dwell on the dying of the world socialist movement, but on the contrary strengthened the confidence and courage of the leaders and people of the socialist countries in continuing to carry out the socialist movement. This article elaborates from two aspects: the history of the spread and development of Marxism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and the unfavorable and beneficial influence of the violent transformation of the Soviet Union and the Eastern Europe on Marxism so that the readers will have a deeper understanding of the influence of the Soviet Union and the Eastern Europe on Marxism as well as socialism Its own construction, development and understanding of Marxist theory are not accomplished in a single step, but a process that requires people to continually explore and summarize.
