Beeby等报道不用术前药的患儿与用术前镇静药作比较,两者按同一方法进行行为测试,表现满意的频率无明显差別。近年来又尝试让父母留在麻醉室陪伴患儿,特别是门诊小手术,就可以不用术前药。作者观察比较了用或不用术前药对硫喷妥钠需用量的影响,并计算出硫喷妥钠的半数有效量(ED50)和90％有效量(ED90) 作者选择490例1/12岁智力和体质正常的儿童(排除特别惧怕打针的患儿)。按术前用药分四组。(1) 异丁嗪组133例,平均5.83±2.45岁,男孩占71％,术前一个半小时口服异丁嗪3mg/kg及阿托品0.03mg/kg;(2) TDP组137例平均年龄5.76±2.47岁,男孩占0.67％,术前一个半小时口服TDP0.25ml/kg(每毫升TDP内含异丁嗪6mg,氟哌啶0.6mg和美散痛0.32mg)和阿托品0.03mg/kg;(3) 鸦片全碱组126例,平均6.71±2.54岁,男孩占0.66％,术前一小时肌注鸦片全碱0.3mg/kg和东莨菪碱0.06mg/kg;(4) 不用术前药组94例平均7.25±3.23岁,男孩占69％。静注硫喷妥钠每10秒0.5mg/kg,至睫毛反射消失,一般量为2.0～8.5mg/kg。所得参数均通过概率单位分析法(Probit Analysis),算出硫喷妥钠首次量对数
