用免疫细胞化学和图像分析法研究了大鼠杏仁中央核内血管活性肠多肽标记神经元的分布和形态的增龄性变化.血管活性肠多肽标记神经元胞体主要位于杏仁中央核的外测亚区,外囊亚区内亦有少量分布,偶见于内侧亚区和腹侧亚区.随月龄增加血管活性肠多肽标记神经无数量明显减少,胞体中染色的深度明显降低,细胞体面积逐渐增大.在24月龄大鼠还出现细胞突起伸长,弯曲,树突分校增多等明显的细胞形态改变.结果表明:大鼠杏仁中央核内血管活性肠多肽标记神经元的形态和血管活性肠多肽含量有明显的增龄变化.
