1992年10月,江西省考古所和德安县博物馆、永修县文管所联合在德安的米粮铺、永修的江益地带进行考古调查,发现古文化遗址数处,并采集了一批石器和陶器标本,现将有关资料整理报导如下。一、遗址地貌概况遗址位于德安、永修交界的米粮铺、江益一带,即界牌岭地区。这一带地貌系赣北丘陵。遗址一般分布在高于稻田的山丘或台地上。周围水系发达,遗址分布范围在约五平方公里的狭长山间盆地两侧山坡(图一)。

Around the water system developed, the site is located in the distribution of about five square kilometers of hillsides on both sides of the narrow mountain basin (Figure 1).
