2015年7月18日,《建筑创作》杂志编辑王卓琳、主编王舒展对“珠海横琴国际网球中心”项目设计方Populous公司高级总裁安德鲁·詹姆斯进行了1个多小时的采访。采访用英语进行,讨论了三类话题:关于大型场馆设施的核心设计问题、关于珠海横琴国际网球中心的问题和关于Populous公司完成设计知识与经验体制的问题。这三类命题将成为本次采访的主要线索,带领读者深入了解目前体育场馆存在的问题、横琴网球中心的设计始末以及Populous公司完整的培训体制。
On July 18, 2015, Wang Zhuolian, editor of Architectural Creation magazine, and Wang Shuzhan, interviewed Andrew James, senior director of Populous, Zhuhai Hengqin International Tennis Center project for more than 1 hour. The interview was conducted in English and discussed three topics: core design issues for large venue facilities, questions about Hengqin International Tennis Center in Zhuhai, and questions about Populous’s completion of the design knowledge and experience system. These three types of propositions will be the main clues in this interview, leading readers to gain insight into the current stadium problems, design of Hengqin tennis center and Populous’s complete training system.
