文章叙述了“五卅”运动中英国和日本处理惨案的态度 ,分析了英国积极寻求日本的合作而日本采取双重政策的原因。认为 ,英、日两国在这场运动中的所作所为都是为了维护本国的利益。
The article describes the attitude of the United Kingdom and Japan in handling the massacre during the May Fools’ Movement and analyzes the reasons why Britain actively sought Japan’s cooperation while Japan adopted a dual policy. He believes that what Britain and Japan did in this campaign are aimed at safeguarding the interests of their own country.
