The mechanism of palladium extraction from perchloric acid medium with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoylpyrazolone 5 (PMBP) in chloroform was studied. The extraction composition is (Pd · L) Cl O4 measured by the slope method. The extraction reaction equation is: HL (o) + Pd2 + (a) + Cl O-4 ) + H + (a)
