This article discusses three new lead oxide photodiodes that are completely different from the conventional all-magnetic lead oxide phototube. The XQ4087 is an ultralight high-stability diode gun 11mm video tube that incorporates a new electro-optical system with an accelerating focusing lens. The XQ4187 is an 18mm video tube with good registration, low inertia, light weight and low power consumption. The text also compared these tubes with the magnetic focus - electrostatic deflection 18mmXQ 3457 tube.
