随着人类改变自然力度加深和生态危机到来,薇拉·凯瑟草原系列小说越来越具有从生态视角研究的价值。从环境描写和人物话语两个角度,结合生态整体主义内涵,解读凯瑟对待土地的态度。凯瑟超越了以人类为中心的自然观,将自然放在不依附于人类意志的独立位置,通过人物话语展示了人与土地之间平等和谐的关系。《啊,拓荒者!》体现了凯瑟对待土地的生态整体观,对当今生态意识树立有启示。
With the deepening of mankind’s changing nature and the arrival of the ecological crisis, the series of novels by Vera Cather prairie are more and more valuable from the ecological point of view. From the two aspects of environment description and character discourse, combining the connotation of ecological holism, interpreting the attitude of Kaiser on the land.
