语文是最重要的交际工具,是人类文化的重要组成部分。工具性与人文性的统一,是语文课程的基本特点。语文课程的多重功能和奠基作用,决定了它在九年义务教育阶段的重要地位。语文教育应该而且能够为培养和造就一代新人发挥重要作用。为适应和满足社会进步与学生自身发展的需要,语文教育必须在课程目标和内容、教学观念和学习方式、评价目的和方法等方面进行系统的改革。
Language is the most important communication tool and an important part of human culture. The unity of instrumentality and humanity is the basic characteristic of Chinese course. The multiple functions and foundation of the Chinese curriculum determine its important position in the nine-year compulsory education period. Chinese education should and can play an important role in cultivating and creating new generations. In order to meet and meet the needs of social progress and students’ own development, Chinese education must carry out systematic reforms in the aspects of curriculum objectives and contents, teaching concepts and learning styles, evaluation purposes and methods.
