实现“九五”计划和2010年远景目标,最根本的保证是加强和改善党的领导,这是历史和现实反复证明了的科学真理。新民主主义革命的伟大胜利,社会主义革命和建设的巨大成就,包括17年改革开放和现代化建设的举世瞩目的成果,都是我们党领导全国各族人民艰苦奋斗取得的。历史表明,中国共产党不愧为中国人民伟大事业的坚强领导核心。只要牢牢坚持党的领导,我们就会不断从胜利走向新的胜利。
The most fundamental guarantee for realizing the Ninth Five-Year Plan and the 2010 Vision is to strengthen and improve party leadership. This is the scientific truth proven repeatedly by history and reality. The great victory of the new-democratic revolution, the tremendous achievements in socialist revolution and construction, including the remarkable achievements of 17 years of reform and opening up as well as the modernization drive have all been made by our party under the leadership of the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country. History shows that the Chinese Communist Party deserves to be the strong leadership core of the great cause of the Chinese people. As long as we firmly adhere to the party’s leadership, we will continue to move from victory to new victory.
