配合在全省城乡开展的社会主义教育运动,辽宁日报从六月下旬起,在第三版开辟了《忆苦思甜》的专栏,刊登村史、厂史、工农劳动群众的家史和个人血泪史等稿件,受到了广大读者的欢迎,在社会上引起了比较大的反响。仅一个多月,报社编辑部收到各地寄来的家史、村史、个人血泪史等稿件近二百篇。其中不少稿件都是作者看到这个专栏的文章后,联想到自己的家史和身世深有所感而执笔写出或口述的;
