嫁接繁殖是一种常用的园林技术。嫁接时,用优良品种植株上的枝或芽作接穗(接芽),嫁接在砧木上而形成一个新的植株,称为嫁接苗。这种苗木的特点是:砧木根系发达具有适应性较强的优良特性(如抗旱、抗涝、抗寒、抗盐碱、抗病等)。接穗的阶段性成熟性状已经固定。因此嫁接植株生长快,结果早,能够保持母本的优良性状。最近几年嫁接育苗在油橄榄生产实践和科学试验中已被广泛应用。通过嫁接可以繁殖大量优良苗木;可以高接换种,改造品种,更新衰弱病株等。
Grafting is a common garden technology. Grafting, with good varieties of plants on the branches or shoots as a scion (buds), grafted onto the rootstock to form a new plant, known as the grafted seedlings. The seedling is characterized by: rootstock rootstock developed with strong adaptability of the excellent characteristics (such as drought, waterlogging, cold, salt, disease resistance, etc.). Stage maturity of the scion trait has been fixed. Therefore, grafted plants grow fast, early results, able to maintain the excellent traits of the female parent. Grafted seedlings in recent years olive oil production practices and scientific experiments have been widely used. Through grafting can reproduce a large number of excellent nursery stock; can be high takeover, transformation of varieties, renewal of diseased strains.
