牙根切除和半切除在1884年就由Farrar描述过。近25年来有大量的文献报道了牙根切除的适应症,禁忌症,外科技术和这种牙的修复。本文描述把半切除的下颌磨牙做为固定义齿桥基牙的处理方法。牙根切除的适应症是:(1)多根牙一个牙根患重度牙周炎;(2)牙颈部釉质凸出,(3)不能作根管手术的牙髓感染牙齿;(4)牙根周围组织不良;(5)牙槽骨下的断裂;(6)严重的龋坏延伸到齿槽嵴或齿槽嵴以下;(7)发育沟;(8)医源性损坏。
Root excision and resection have been described by Farrar in 1884. In the past 25 years a large number of literatures have reported the indications, contraindications, surgical techniques and the restoration of such teeth. This article describes the use of a partially resected mandibular molar as a treatment for a bridge abutment. The indications of root excision are: (1) one tooth root of multiple teeth with severe periodontitis; (2) enamel protrusion of the cervical neck; (3) dental pulp that can not be rooted for root canal infection; (4) Poor tissue; (5) fracture of the alveolar bone; (6) severe carious extension to the alveolar crest or alveolar ridge below; (7) development ditch; (8) iatrogenic damage.
