“English is the most widely spoken language in the world and Chinese is the most spoken language in the world.” This has always been an indisputable fact. The reason is very simple, mostly English-speaking countries are “cattle”, while China’s vast territory, population chanting. However, when we say these things again, there seems to be some “confidence”. Especially last year, China had two big happy events. One was Beijing’s successful bid for the Olympic Games. The first was China’s successful accession to the WTO. One of the changes that has brought China home is the fact that the main populace has set off a broader learning English boom. Correspondingly, among many foreigners, learning Chinese has also become a trend and is getting warmer. Actually, smart Chinese should have smelled the scent of this “Chinese cheese.”
