中国工笔画学会自1987年创立以来,先后举办了七届全国工笔画大展,从中涌现出众多活跃于工笔画坛最具实力的工笔画家。2011年4月全国第八届工笔画大展将在北京中国美术馆隆重举行。为了让有一定创作水平的工笔画家参展前有一个学习、研究、交流的平台,切实提高全国第八届工笔画大展的学术水平,中国工笔画学会决定于2010年12月-2011年
Since its founding in 1987, China Meticulous Picture Association has successively held seven National Solo Exhibitions, from which a number of the most powerful painters active in the art of painting are emerging. In April 2011, the Eighth National Solstice Art Exhibition will be held in Beijing Art Museum of China. In order to let a certain level of creative painters have a platform for study, research and exchange before the exhibition, and effectively improve the academic level of the Eighth National Fine Art Exhibition, the Chinese Fine Arts Society decided in December 2010 -2011
