鉴于电影名称的重要性,笔者对翻译电影名称的标准进行了研究,在这之前我们需要先了解一下外国电影名称翻译的方法和翻译的基本原则,本文在分析外国电影名称翻译方法的基础上,对外国电影翻译时需要遵循的原则及电影名称翻译标准做如下分析。一、外国电影名称翻译的方法 (一)音译英文电影中在很多情况下都使用地名或人名作为影片的名称。对于国内观众比较熟悉的地点或人物,我们在翻译电影名称时可以采用直接音译的办法,在有效传达影片信息的同时,还能够很好地保留其历史文化内涵。
In view of the importance of the movie name, the author studied the standard of the translation of movie names. Before that, we need to understand the method of translation of foreign movie titles and the basic principles of translation. Based on the analysis of translation methods of foreign movie titles, The following principles are to be followed in the translation of foreign films and the translation criteria of movie titles: First, the method of foreign film name translation (a) transliteration English movies in many cases use names or names as the title of the film. For places or people familiar with domestic audiences, we can use direct transliteration in the translation of movie titles. While effectively conveying the film information, we can well preserve its historical and cultural connotations.
