印度为加快港口现代化建设步伐,自90年代以来采取了一系列改革举措: 首先,明确港口发展目标。印度八五计划(1992~1997年)港口主要发展目标是:实现港口设备的现代化,采用现代技术降低成本和提高工效;港口设施至少有50%能适应集装箱一般货物装卸;主要港口能接纳大型船舶的停泊;提高劳动者和设备的生产效率。印度九五计划(1997~2002年)目标是使主要港口的容量增加1.59亿吨,到2002年印度港口货物吞吐量增加到4.24亿吨。2007年货物吞吐量目标是8亿吨。
In order to speed up the pace of port modernization, India has taken a series of reform measures since the 1990s: First, the goal of port development has been clearly defined.
