死时间t_m是气相色谱中的一个重要的参数。如何准确地求得t_m是色谱工作者感兴趣的一个课题。常用的方法有Peterson方法,Grobler和Balizs方法及Guardino等的方法。这些方法都是以式(1) log(t_R-t_m)=an+b (1)为基础而导出的。式中n为正构烷烃的碳数,a、b为常数。在使用上述方法求取t_m时要求确保式(1)成立,否则将会产生较大的误差。而事实上,式(1)所表示的线性关系只有在某个碳数范围内才成立。
Dead time t_m is an important parameter in gas chromatography. How to get t_m accurately is a topic that chromatographers are interested in. Commonly used methods are Peterson method, Grobler and Balizs method and Guardino method. These methods are derived based on (1) log (t_R-t_m) = an + b (1). Where n is the carbon number of normal paraffins, a, b is a constant. In the use of the above method to obtain t_m requires formula (1) to ensure the establishment, otherwise it will have a greater error. In fact, the linear relationship represented by Eq. (1) holds only within a certain carbon number range.
