The yield structure of cotton includes the total number of bolls per acre, the boll weight and the percentage of clothing. There is interdependence and mutual restraint among these three factors. Understanding the impact of these three factors on production is of guiding significance in choosing the direction of the main attack more accurately and in tapping the potential for increasing production. To this end, we made a preliminary discussion on the regression and related aspects of the cotton yield per mu and the total number of bolls per acre, the boll weight, and the percentage of clothing, in order to seek some beneficial enlightenment. In the 1980 joint experiment on high-yield cultivation, more complete sets of yield components were accumulated in eight plots of three pilots (Table 1). The single boll weight is the average single boll weight of the whole plant which is fixed at 30-50 strains. The average boll weight of the whole plant is also the average seed weight of the whole plant of the seed cotton seed rolling. The total number of bolls per acre is the actual planting density and boll number per plant Product, lint acres of seed cotton production
