Lishui City, Zhejiang Tongji Weir Irrigation Project recently held in Gwangju, South Korea’s 22nd International Conference on Irrigation and Drainage and International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) 6th International Executive Council, was awarded the first batch of World Irrigation Project Heritage List. It is reported that, as a list of the first batch of the world’s irrigation works heritage a total of 17, of which China has a total of 4, namely, Lishui Tongji Weir in Zhejiang Province, Leshan Dongfeng weir in Sichuan, Hunan Xinhua purple magpie terraces and Fujian Putian Mulan.
