In engineering and hydrological geophysical exploration work and crustal electrical sounding research, it is often encountered that the geoelectric section can not be approximated by a horizontal layered medium of constant resistivity, and the transitional layer appears. The so-called transition layer, refers to the two layers with constant conductivity (resistivity) sandwiched between the conductivity of the depth of the continuous function of the layer. Foreign explanations of the phenomenon of transitional layer and electrical sounding of transitional layer attracted the attention of some geophysical workers in the 1960s. In recent years, many people have explored the positive and inverse methods of electrical sounding of transitional layers and have made some progress. The relevant information is as follows.
