数列极限是《微积分》中的一个重要的基本概念。历届同学在初学这个概念时都感到难以理解,特别对于用“ε-N”的语言叙述的极限定义,更感到不可捉摸。主要原因是在过去讲这个概念时只强调变量的变化趋势,不讲其中的矛盾运动和矛盾的对立统一规律,另外,没有很好地结合实例启发引导学生怎样从感性上升到理性,从特殊上升到一般。因此使同学们觉得这个定义来得突然,难以捉摸。这次我用毛主席的哲学思想对这部分教材进行了分析并初步尝试用启发式进行了教学。根据课后的了解,学员对这种讲法比较欢迎,效果也较好。下面将我这堂课的教学情况作一介绍。
