The use of transfer matrix method to calculate the school-based rational calculation of the ship shaft, and the use of software tools to be achieved to overcome the traditional short three-moment method complex, cumbersome, low-precision shortcomings. By comparing the two methods of real ship shaft system, it shows that the application of transfer matrix method is advanced and reasonable.
