1994年6月26日凌晨,辽宁省博物馆发生一起特大文物被盗案,犯罪分子盗走国家珍贵文物42件。这起建国以来沈阳市最大、全国罕见的文物被盗案件发生后,立即引起了国家、省、市各级领导的极大重视。沈阳市各级公安机关怀着对国家和人民高度负责的使命感,以百折不挠的精神积极组织侦察,经过5个月零13天的连续奋战,终于在12月8日攻破了此案,文物大盗件德成被抓捕归案,同时缴获了全部被盗文物。一6月26日早晨6时10分,天空淅淅沥沥下着小雨。和平区公安分局和市公安局刑警支队几乎同时接到报案:“辽宁省博物馆二楼第八展厅有数十件珍贵文物被盗走。”数分钟后,市公安局常绪武局长、崔德文副局长,和平区公安分局与市刑警支队的领导率领侦察人员和刑侦技术人员迅速赶到发案现场,立即组织警力对省博物馆出入口及被盗现场实行全面封锁,现场勘查
