毛泽东的“根”在滴水洞风景区的韶山水库大坝脚下,有一片古老而文明的土地,这里是毛泽东的祖辈繁衍生息之所,也是毛泽东少年时代读过私塾的地方,叫东茅塘。笔者数十次踏上这片土地,令人留连忘返,肃然起敬!东茅塘一栋简陋而陈旧的农舍里住着两位老人,男的叫毛泽连,号润发,现年80岁,女的叫张玉莲,79岁,是毛泽连的老伴。不知底细的人又有谁知道毛泽连就是毛泽东唯一健在的堂弟呢?!
