工笔花鸟画是花鸟画的一种。花鸟画是与山水画、人物画鼎足而立的中国三大画种之一,它以自然为写生对象,又融入作者自己的感受及精神,感情细腻,讲究技法,历来受到人们的喜爱,并涌现出了许多人人皆知的大师。然而在近一二十年,花鸟画与其他许多艺术一样,也受到了各种潮流的冲击,以致于许多画家不得不徘徊在十字路口。
