菠菜籽种皮坚硬,透性差,用普通方法测定发芽率需12～14天,而且出芽时间不一致,影响测定的准确性。为适应调种、引种测定发芽率的需要,我们试用种子剥皮法,快速测定种子发芽率,收到了良好成效。具体做法;用手术刀先从种胚两边下刀,用刀尖轻轻挑去种皮,不要碰坏种胚,剥200粒约需60分钟。然后,将剥掉种皮的种子,摆在备好的发芽床上,放在18～25℃条件下,3天就可测出准确的发芽率。
