为给冀西太行山增添优良速生用材树种,笔者自1982~1991年连续10年,在邯郸地区武安市中、低山进行了华北落叶松育苗造林试验。结果表明,根据华北落叶松生物学特性,选择适宜的立地条件,改进技术措施,人为创造适宜环境,华北落叶松能在冀西太行山海拔700~950m,气候干热的中低山区良好生长。1a生幼林树高可达6.27m,5~10a生每年平均高生长0.86m,胸径7.76cm,材积50.625m~3·hm~(-2).比太行山北段驼梁山华北落叶松天然分布区纬度降低2°,海拔降低550~800 m,为低纬度、低海拔地区营造华北落叶松林提供了依据。
In order to add excellent species of rapid growing timber to Taihang Mountain in west Hebei Province, the authors conducted the experiment of afforestation of Larix principis-rupprechtii in middle and low mountains of Wuan City in Handan Region for 10 consecutive years from 1982 to 1991.
