邵原镇北寨村距离市区60公里,在济源市西部,地势北高南低。虽然北寨村的主导产业是种植业和养殖业,但是该村的人均耕地面积不足6分,因此想从土地上得到可观的收入几乎是不可能的。2015年9月,济源市委政法委主任科员刘东方来到邵原镇北寨村任第一书记。但是,刘东方和北寨村的渊源要追溯到2012年,当时刘东方结对帮扶的对象就是北寨村。
