语言测试对教和学的影响被称为反拨作用,包括促进教学的正面反拨作用和阻碍教学的负面反拨作用。全国高等院校统一招生英语考试(NMET)作为一项大型的高利害考试,对英语教学的反拨作用尤为明显。本文从反拨作用的定义、NMET对英语教学的正面反拨作用及负面反拨作用三方面进行探讨,并由此得出对英语教学的启示。
The impact of language testing on teaching and learning is called backwashing, including promoting the positive backwashing effect of teaching and hindering the negative backwashing effect of teaching. As a large-scale, high-risk test, the NMET (National English Admissions Examination) in colleges and universities all over the world plays an especially significant role in the anti-English teaching. This essay discusses three aspects: the definition of backwash, the positive backwash effect of NMET on English teaching and the negative backwash effect, and the enlightenment to English teaching from this.
