Author Li Ping’an has been engaged in economic research for more than a decade and has authored numerous articles on commodity economy, market economy and related fields under the socialist system. He has won 14 research awards of various kinds at home and abroad successively. This book is a selection of 50 of his more than 100 articles, which have been the fruits of his studies in economic theory for many years. Article selected involves four aspects of the socialist market economy, including theoretical articles, articles of business vitality, mechanism operation articles, articles on macroeconomic regulation and control. These papers have theoretical depth, innovation
