1 Kazakhstan and China’s Interests in Cooperation in the Oil and Natural Gas Sector Kazakhstan is rich in oil and natural gas, which is enough to ensure that its annual oil production will increase to 170 million tons and that natural gas will increase to 60 billion m3. At present, Kazakhstan very much hopes that the oil and gas industry can create more revenue for the country and is ready to introduce more investment to the oil and gas exploration and development sector.
