The project of CIMASIA Asian Computer Integrated Manufacturing System under the Eureka Plan was formally approved under the Dongfeng of the Eureka Program Asia Series in 1998. This is yet another project that is more closely linked with the economic and technological development of Macao’s science and technology after the CIMS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems) lecture series was launched in Macao.
