邓小平同志与世长辞了。我们以极其悲痛的心情,悼念这位世纪伟人,缅怀他老人家的丰功伟绩和崇高风范,寄托我们的无尽哀思。邓小平同志不仅是我国社会主义改革开放和现代化建设的总设计师,是建设有中国特色社会主义理论的创立者,也是新时期中国科技方针政策和发展战略的奠基人,是广大科技工作者的良师益友。他虽然不幸离开了我们,但他对中国改革开放和社会主义现代化建设事业的巨大贡献和对发展科学技术的谆谆教诲已经并将永远铭记在我们心中,化为我们继续前进的力量。
Comrade Deng Xiaoping excused himself. We are extremely saddened to pay tribute to this great man of the century, cherish the great achievements and lofty demeanor of his elders, and entrust our endless grief. Comrade Deng Xiaoping is not only the chief architect of China's socialist reform and opening up and the modernization drive but also the founder of the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and the founder of China's science and technology policy and development strategy in the new era and the mentor and teacher of the vast number of science and technology workers . Although unfortunately he left us, his tremendous contribution to China's cause of reform and opening up and the socialist modernization drive as well as his education in the development of science and technology have always been in our mind and will always be our strength to move forward.
