在无线数字通信中,许多算法都需要知道信噪比以获取最优性能。该文提出了一种盲信噪比估计算法。该算法基于接收信号自相关矩阵的特征值分解和信息论中最小描述长度原理,在不需要预先知道接收信号的具体调制方式,也不需要知道信号的波特率和载波频率的前提下,能够对加性高斯白噪声信道(AWGN)和多径信道下常用数字调制信号的信噪比作出估计,因此是一种盲估计算法。计算机仿真表明在信噪比为0~25dB时,估计误差均值小于1dB,这表明该算法是一种有效的算法。
In wireless digital communications, many algorithms need to know the signal-to-noise ratio for optimal performance. This paper proposes a blind signal to noise ratio estimation algorithm. Based on the eigenvalue decomposition of the autocorrelation matrix of the received signal and the principle of minimum description length in the information theory, the proposed algorithm can estimate the baud rate and carrier frequency of the received signal without knowing the specific modulation mode of the received signal and without knowing the baud rate and carrier frequency of the signal It is a kind of blind estimation algorithm because it estimates the signal-to-noise ratio of additive digital Gaussian white noise channel (AWGN) and multipath channel commonly used digital modulation signal. Computer simulation shows that the estimated error mean is less than 1dB when SNR is 0 ~ 25dB, which shows that this algorithm is an effective algorithm.
