一九八七年十二月二十二日,省委宣传部、省新闻出版局、省记协联合举行大会,表彰四川日报关于生猪问题系列报道。表彰大会由省委宣传部副部长李致主持。省新闻出版局局长单基夫宣读了表彰决定。决定充分肯定了川报生猪问题系列报道所产生的良好社会效果;在充分发挥舆论监督作用上作了有益的探索;表现了“重大情况让人民知道,重大问题经人民讨论”的民主、开放精神;以及敢于和善于反映社会
On December 22, 1987, the Propaganda Department of Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Press and Publication Bureau, Provincial Association of Record Workers jointly held a congress in recognition of Sichuan Daily’s series of reports on live pigs. The ceremony was presided over by Vice Minister Li Zhi of the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department. Monchf, head of the provincial press and publication bureau, read the commendation decision. The decision fully affirmed the good social effects produced by the series of reports on the pig issue in Sichuan Daily, made useful explorations in giving full play to the role of public opinion supervision, and demonstrated the democracy of “major situations make the people know that major issues are discussed by the people” Open-minded; and courage and good at reflecting the community
