Nowadays, effective teacher talk becomes increasingly important beacuse it is directly connected to students’ in-class performances. Many experts and educators have done researches on it which mainly focus on Word Grid and Rationale. Some discuss it from distinct angles, based on which some conclusions and discoveries have been put forward. This thesis is also targeted at these two aspects.
