The study explores the exact mechanism by which smoking affects bone metabolism by analyzing the relationship between smoking and bone mineral density in elderly postmenopausal women, and the effects of smoking on changes in bone and mineral metabolism. A total of 444 elderly women aged 65-77 years were selected and divided into non-smoking group, a small number of smoking group (<1 pack / day) and a large number of smoking group (> 1 pack / day) according to the degree of smoking.
