本文总结了VOIVO公司关于采用顺序增压的试验和研究结果。从分析顺序增压方法的基本原理出发,提出了采用带有脉冲转换器的不同流通面积,单进口涡轮箱涡轮增压器组构成的顺序增压系统。采用该方法使发动机的性能特别是低速扭矩和响应显著改善。文章还介绍了顺序增压系统的设计及增压器组匹配的方法。同时还简述了顺序增压发动机性能优化的基本原理及目前的研究方向与基本方法,从而进一步改善了顺序增压发动机的性能。这些改善可由文中所述的发动机试验所证实。总之,顺序增压发动机与采用其它先进增压系统的发动机相比有相当大的竞争力,它愈来愈有可能被车用发动机所接受。
This article summarizes the VOIVO company on the use of sequential pressurization test and research results. Starting from the analysis of the basic principle of the sequential pressurization method, a sequential pressurization system using different flow areas and single-inlet turbocharger turbines with pulse converters is proposed. Adopting this method significantly improves engine performance, especially low speed torque and response. The paper also introduces the design of sequential pressurization system and the method of matching turbocharger. At the same time, the basic principle of sequential supercharged engine performance optimization as well as the current research directions and basic methods are also briefly described, which further improves the performance of the sequential supercharged engine. These improvements can be confirmed by the engine tests described herein. In summary, sequential supercharged engines are considerably more competitive than engines employing other advanced supercharged systems and are increasingly likely to be accepted by automotive engines.
