Brad:①Today’s the big day, Janet! After the 1)ceremony this afternoon, we’ll be college graduates!
Janet:I know, Brad. Doesn’t feel like it’s been four years since we came here from high school, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed with dreams.
Brad:Oh, I don’t know about that. I’ve wanted this day for so long; I thought it would never come.
Janet: But it has, and now we’ve got to think about the future.
Brad:②Kind of 2)scary. No more long vacations in the summer and at Christmas.
Janet:No more relying on mom and dad for money.
Brad: No more skipping classes. I’ll have to call in at work if ③I’m feeling under the weather, and probably have a doctor’s note to prove I really was sick.
Janet:No more student discounts at stores, or for travel.
Brad:And no more cheap apartments shared with three other guys.
Janet:You can still do that. After you find a job and know where you’ll be living, you can advertise in the local paper and find some roommates.
Brad:Actually, ④I had a different 3)scenario in mind.
  Janet:Such as . . . ?
Brad:How about, we keep our 4)mutual job searches in the same city, and after we both find something, we move in together?
Janet: Are you asking me to live with you?
Brad:More than that. I’d planned on doing the whole romantic thing, dinner, candlelight, bent knee. But that’s not really me, and I’m hoping you’ll understand if I just say: I love you! I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you be my wife?
Janet:Oh, Brad! Of course I will!
Brad:Is this OK, to do it this way? You’re crying!
Janet:Of course it’s OK. I just can’t help thinking of poor Sherry, assuming she and Jeff were engaged when they weren’t, and here I was, hoping you’d say this and you did!
Brad:I don’t want to ⑤cut down your best friend, honey, but I never felt she loved Jeff. Seemed like she just wanted to be married, no matter who it was, and since she’d invested a lot of time in him, well . . .
Janet: I don’t like saying this either, but I think you’re right. Can she still be at our wedding, though, even if she is shallow?
Brad:⑥Goes without saying. She’s your best friend.
Janet: You’re amazing. No wonder I want to marry you.So we’ve already applied for jobs in Minneapolis. Anywhere else we should look?

  Brad:
  Janet:
  Janet:
  Brad:
  Janet:
  Janet:
  Brad:
  Brad:
