教师队伍建设是通用技术课程有效实施的关键。通过总结实施较为成功学校的经验可以发现:专职教师队伍是有序、有效实施通用技术课程的主要基础,学校发挥专职教师专职且专业的作用,可以提高通用技术课程实施的有序性和实效性;兼职教师队伍是更加有效实施通用技术课程的重要条件,既是促进课程模块建设的保障,也是拓宽专职教师专业视野的法宝。在实施过程中,寻求辩证统一是专兼职教师队伍建设的有力保障。
