Retailers’ internal and external difficulties For China’s retail industry, December 11, 2004 is a very meaningful day. Since then, China has abolished the restrictions on the geographical area, the number and proportion of foreign-invested retail businesses. International retail giants with huge sums of money further accelerated the pace of expansion in China. Even Wal-Mart, which has always been known for its steady growth, opened 14 new stores within a year and opened shops almost three times faster. Local zero
