通过春尺蠖种群密度、幼虫体色及抗AciNPV毒力的试验研究表明,春尺蠖种群质量的优劣,除环境因素外,还与种群的年轻衰老程度以及在时间空间的数量变动和AciNPV的潜伏存在有密切的关系。种群密度的大小直接影响着幼虫体色和种群年龄及质量。种群密度越大,褐色幼虫占的比率越高,种群衰老,质量劣,其关系为正相关关系;种群密度越小,灰色幼虫占的比率越高,种群年轻,质量优,其关系为负相关关系。AciNPV的发生流行极显著地依赖于宿主种群密度,种群密度越大,AciNPV发生流行率越高,关系为正相关关系。幼虫体色与抗AciNPV毒力的关系通过试验方差分析为深色幼虫的抗毒力极显著地低于浅色幼虫,浅色幼虫的抗毒力平均高于深色幼虫10%~16%。
